Online Safety E-learning: University & Higher Education
This e-learning aims to provide you with an understanding of online abuse, including what the law says; its potential impacts; and the indicators or risks related to online abuse, particularly focusing on children and young people. It will illustrate ways to open up conversations about online abuse to both prevent and respond to it, offering examples of what can be used in educational and youth settings.
This workshop explores online abuse in all its forms, and includes peer-reviewed research and reports of real-life experiences. It is designed to raise awareness of the impacts of online abuse, particularly on children and young people, and the risk and vulnerability factors, with a view to improving our ability to identify it, respond to it and prevent it.

Thank you again for today’s training. I can’t remember the last time I came out of training so inspired and ready for action. So often training is death by PowerPoint and with nothing to take away other than worry and concern that you aren’t able to do something. This was so far from that. On the train, I planned two staff training sessions and worked out a program for our Year class and an individual in particular. Never done that before after training. Both sessions were fantastic.
