Our accredited training promotes effective advocacy and services for survivors by supporting frontline professionals’ development and welfare.

Accredited Training

domestic violence deliver the knowledge and skills to help you take the first steps. Courses are accredited by the appropriate governing bodies and provide a recognised qualification. Experienced ISVAs and women working with the VAWG sector develop all our courses. 

If you’re new to your role, our e-learning module introducing the concepts, myths and attitudes around sexual violence is a great place to start. We also have modules that will help you navigate specific cases or aspects of your role, from working with prostitution and the sex trade to understanding the criminal justice process. Our wellbeing courses are designed to support your pastoral welfare as you handle this challenging job. You will learn about the concepts of secondary or vicarious trauma and gain practical tips, tricks and tools to help you develop resilience and cope with your caseload.

ISVA/IDVA training costs

Costs vary depending on the type of training you need and the setting you choose to have it in. Our off the shelf e-learning training for individuals starts at £75 + VAT. Our live group courses start from £580 + VAT depending on the length of the session, whether it’s online or in person, whether it’s bespoke to your organisation or off the shelf and the number of attendees. We offer discounted rates for charities and social enterprises.

Thank you again for today’s training. I can’t remember the last time I came out of training so inspired and ready for action. So often training is death by PowerPoint and with nothing to take away other than worry and concern that you aren’t able to do something. This was so far from that. On the train, I planned two staff training sessions and worked out a program for our Year class and an individual in particular. Never done that before after training. Both sessions were fantastic.
