Understand key terms relevant to an understating of work-related trauma exposure
- know definitions of vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue and burnout
 
- be able to differentiate between vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue and burnout
 
Understand negative responses to work-related trauma exposure
- understand risk factors that may make individuals more vulnerable to vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue and burnout
 
- understand the possible symptoms of work-related trauma exposure
 
- recognise responses in yourself that might be indicative of work-related trauma exposure
 
- recognise responses in others that might be indicative of work-related trauma exposure
 
- recognise responses in teams or organisations that might be indicative of work-related trauma exposure
