Course Description
This session explores the biological, social and workplace experiences of menopause, helping participants understand the challenges and inequalities that can shape people’s experiences. Participants will develop an understanding of menopause-related symptoms, workplace barriers, legal responsibilities and practical approaches to support colleagues, including reasonable adjustments and effective signposting.
The course takes an intersectional approach, exploring how organisational cultures, policies and wider systems can influence access to support and create different experiences of menopause. Through reflection, discussion and practical activities, attendees will consider how they can contribute to creating a more inclusive and supportive workplace.
